To achieve Cisco Premier Certification Internode was required to achieve the Cisco Express Foundation Specialization. This specialization includes tests on technical competency in the integration of basic routing and switching, wireless LANs, and security technologies.

Carbon Planet conducted a comprehensive audit of greenhouse gas emissions attributable to Internode in the 2006-07 financial year.

By identifying the types and amounts of its greenhouse gas emissions, Internode was able to reduce or remove the effect of those emissions by purchasing 3900 fully certified carbon credit offsets.
